“One of the characteristics that I appreciate in Rachel is that she readily accepts challenges to grow herself professionally and personally in an effort to give exceptional, quality care. Families and individuals would be blessed to work with her.”

About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate currently under the supervision of Diana Bigham, LMFT-S, RPT. I am committed to the field and passionate about how I serve those under my care. Taking the steps toward change can be scary and vulnerable. It is an honor to provide a safe, confidential space where you feel encouraged and supported in your work toward positive change.

Utilizing my training to benefit the community is something that I strive for.  Working with families who are struggling to meet the emotional needs of their children, due to difficulties in attachment and emotional regulation,  is a population in which I have particular interest. Supporting the connection between family members has been the most fulfilling pursuit.

I have experience as a lead adolescent therapist in a facility where adolescents and their families at the partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient level of care were served, gaining experience in treating self harm, low self-worth, and mood disorders. Working at a higher level of care fueled a passion for preventive care for adolescents and their families. Empowering parents to navigate challenging behaviors in a compassionate and productive way has been especially rewarding.

Outside of therapy, I love connecting with friends and family, diving into a good book and exploring new places with my husband. I enjoy documentaries and am a self-proclaimed pickle connoisseur.
